Do you ever feel like you’re just running scales and licks — but it still doesn’t sound like real jazz? You know the theory, you’ve practiced the patterns, but your solos feel flat, stiff, or uninspired.
because it´s not only what you play - but it´s much more important :
HOW YOU PLAY IT !
the "Learn from Jazz Guitar Masters" is a 10-week live Zoom course designed to help you bridge the gap between theory and feel. Through live-streamed lessons, personal feedback, and deep dives into the language of the greats, you'll start playing music that actually sounds like jazz — expressive, swinging, and alive.
You know, when it comes to learning jazz guitar, there’s really nothing that beats experiencing jazz in a live setting. Immersing yourself in the jazz world and feeling the energy that live improvisation creates — that’s the most exciting and motivating thing there is!
this is why this course includes 10 live Zoom sessions, each 60 minutes long.
Yes — live-streamed lessons where we connect in real time.
and yes i know that can be a little bit scary but it´s also a very good first step for playing jazz in the real world. because that´s what i am aiming for with every course that i teach - making guitar players feel confident enough to take a leap of faith and go out and play with other people.
You’ll also get access to pre-recorded material via Dropbox folders.
here’s how each session goes:
I kick things off with a live improvisation performance, just for you.
Then we dive into the course content (you’ll get all materials one week in advance, so you can prepare).
In the second half, it’s all about YOU — you can play for me, ask questions, and I’ll take the time to break things down, note by note.
Why?
Because I want to help you get away from the screen, away from practicing alone all the time (if that sounds like you), and build the courage to step into the real world of music-making.
My courses are designed to give you the confidence to play with others, not just to play at home. Every exercise, every bit of material has one goal:
👉 To get you ready to play live and make music.
if you want to make the most out of this course be sure to download the recordings of the jazz standards used in this course - get the anytune pro app ( or any other app for slowing down recordings and transcribing music ) so that you can make sure you can practice playing along with master. the devil is really in the details and no notation can ever reflect all the nuances the phrasing of each player.
and while i have been working on this course i discovered a lot of interesting things! f.ex. many players use diminished arpeggios but still they all sound different.
