1.how can i get jazz guitar lessons with you?
please send me a message via the contact button below. i’m currently only accepting new students for my online jazz guitar workshops and long-term study programs. these lessons focus on jazz harmony, improvisation, and creative playing. i don’t offer one-off private lessons, but ongoing students work with me regularly over time.
2.what guitar and equipment do you play?
i play an ibanez pat metheny pm100 from 1998 and an ibanez as50 from 1980, made in japan. i also play a fender stratocaster from 1973. my main amps are a henriksen jazzamp 110 and a polytone mini brute ii and a fender blues deluxe reissue wiht a jansen speaker. for online workshops any guitar with a clear tone will work fine.
3. do you teach beginners or only advanced players?
i do not teach complete beginners. my workshops are for guitarists who already play and want to focus on jazz. if you are completely new to jazz please start with my jazz beginners course learn jazz guitar.
4.how much do i need to practice if i am really serious about playing jazz guitar ?
if you are serious about playing jazz guitar, plan to practice at least two hours every day over an extended period of time. building strong rhythm, sound, and improvisation skills takes focus and consistency.
but if you don’t always have that much time, the quality of your practice becomes even more important. focused and mindful playing, even for shorter sessions, can make a big difference. in my programs, i show you how to practice effectively so every minute helps you grow as a musician.
